At NZPM, we have a strong commitment to industry engagement, training, and development. We have a close relationship with Master Plumbers, Gasfitters & Drainlayers NZ Inc and support the industry through initiatives such as our Young Plumbers Club and the annual Young Plumber of the Year competition.
The Young Plumber of the Year (YPOTY) competition, in association with Plumbing World, showcases and rewards the best and brightest in the industry. This event recognizes excellence in the trades, celebrates industry training, and recognizes the support of employers and suppliers. It is highly regarded within the industry and offers great prizes, personal development opportunities, and more for the winners.
The competition begins with local branch competitions in April each year, with the national final held in September or October. Enter the competition and have your shot at making a name for yourself in your chosen trade.
